M-Lock is a digital ignition/starter lock. It can be changed from a fully mechanical ignition lock to a digital lock.
The digital key/transponder is used in close proximity to the m-Lock.(Reaction range 2 to 5cm) The ignition and power supply of the motorcycle can be switched completely without contact. M-Lock uses the latest RFID technology (radio frequency automatic identification) and is resistant to spoofing (counterfeiting), unlike radio remote maintenance.Each key is individual by its digital code. Only the correct digital code can operate the m-Lock. And neither the key nor the m-Lock will wear out mechanically. The m-Lock switches the automotive relay.It is loadable at up to 50A (that's enough for a big bike). The option of a completely hidden installation of the small m-Lock after the non-metallic parts, e.g. the plastic side cover at the back allows to get rid of the mechanical starter lock. The simple look and original style of the motorcycle is possible. The m-Lock is a great option, especially for custom bikes. The m-Lock also offers styling possibilities. The optionally available glass tube key is so small (3 x 13mm) that it can be sewn into a glove or integrated into a tag accessory such as a ring. The two standard keys (teardrop shape) that come with the m-Lock are the size of the key tag. The standard key (spare key) is in the state of a blank key at the time of purchase, and the customer sets the individual digital code identification by the master key attached to the m-Lock.

I installed it in V-Max 1200. The characters of the OEM's key box are faint and it is impossible to tolerate that the Duct is scratched no matter how ingenuous the Key Holder is devised. I removed the Box and the Large hole opened and I put the Mount color Cut-out, but Plastic and Carbonetc. Communication over non - conductors seems normal, so I think that it can be placed on the back of the Meter box.
