When requesting an inspection of a product, a receipt or other document that proves the date of sale is always required.
A level gauge is added to the oil temperature gauge. Recommended as a basic part for oil management and also for dress-up.
Points of Attention
* If there may be an instruction manual included, it will be written in Japanese.
I installed it the first time and the dial was not straight. It took me a little bit to figure out that the dial is held by a circlip and after using a circlip pliers I was able to rotate the dial in the correct position. It looks so much better than the stock black oil tank cover. As it is made of metal, it gets more hot than the original cover. Be careful not to touch it when you just came from a ride. I'm not sure the if temperature reading is accurate but its definitely consistent. Under hard riding it gets to 100-110 degrees. Moderate riding puts it just about below 100 degrees. It would have been better if there were clear markings on the stick so you can use them to establish normal oil levels for your bike.View Detail
After replacing the exhaust system of sr400Final with a new one that has a good ventilation system, I found out from the Net that if the fuel is not thick enough, there is a danger of overheating. Since fuel adjustment is expensive, an Oil Temperature Meter was installed to keep track of the engine to prevent it from getting too hot. I never thought I would care about the temperature of Engine nowadays. The misalignment of the installation position could be adjusted with Gloves and a finger if the Engine were on! Wonder if the effects will kick in in the summer!View Detail
It was easy to replace with the OEM Oil cap. I can check the oil temperature with this, and it is safe. Sometimes the interior would fog up a bit due to the outside temperature.View Detail
