The original clutch lever spring on the engine side had given up the ghost and broken so needed to be replaced. No point in using a sub standard after market part so we went for genuine Honda. Finding the right spring for this bike was easy using the schematics for the CBR1000RR 2014. The spring was really good value and as I was already ordering from Webike, there was no point in ordering elsewhere. I had all these smaller parts shipped using EMS and the delivery took just 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse. The clutch lever spring came in the standard Honda packet and was inside another bag with the small parts to keep them safe. The spring itself is a sturdy piece of kit, it is well manufactured and pretty strong for the size of it. To be honest, I had my doubts when I unpacked it but that was quickly dismissed once fitted. About quality and texture - The right crankcase cover gasket from Honda is a basic paper gasket, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable oil leak from the old gasket but my friend had also used silicone on the mating surfaces last time as the gasket was torn, so was in desperate need for the gasket to be replaced this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new crush washer for the oil drain bolt as this bolt is removed quite regularly for oil changes.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the right crankcase cover gasket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is required to secure the gasket between the right crankcase cover and the crankcase.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the right crankcase cover gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the right crankcase cover gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The third item I needed for the service on the MSX125 2021. I needed to buy the oil filter element, the air cleaner and the oil screen filter. This was the oil filter element (oil filter). I decided to go for the OEM parts as I know I can count on them for top quality and they last a long time too. I found the right parts by simply using the help section on Webike and cross referenced with Honda schematics. From there, you can determine what is the exact part you need. Brilliant price for this oil cleaner, oil screen filter and the air cleaner element which were all so much cheaper than could be sourced locally. I had a couple of other parts in this order for the MSX125 and EMS got them delivered in 5 days from being shipped. The oil filter element came in the standard Honda packet and was also surrounded with padding. The quality of the oil filter element is easy to see. This little beauty came in for a service and air, oil and filter change. Not really sure how long this has been needing the service but with how the filter was looking upon removal, it was long overdue. Finding the right oil filter was pretty easy if you know how. I cross referenced with Honda schematics and found the oil filter on Webike website. The price Webike had this for was actually on offer at the time so was better than I could source locally. For some reason, these are not easy to get in the UK, maybe the bikes are not that popular here. Anyway, with a couple of other small parts I had my order shipped together to save on some postage costs. EMS got my order delivered in 5 days which was great for me, I know when my orders will arrive. This was packaged really well and carefully too. The oil filter is a standard shape but is specific for this model. It fitted really easily and the quality does show when you are handling it. Very well made and no flaws that I could see. One of my springs for the Akrapovic exhaust took a little damage due to a rock in the road. There was no saving that one so I decided to buy a few spares for it. I found the right length by checking Webike site and found the correct ones to replace. The price from Webike was really good value and as I was already ordering other parts, the shipping cost was a lot less that anticipated. I use EMS as they just get my orders to me fast. In 5 days from shipping, the springs arrived. They were well packaged by Webike and were inside a bubble wrap envelope too. The springs measured exactly what I needed for the replacement. The quality is superb and look such a good set of springs. The rubber sleeves are well made and the logo is loud and proud on them. The actual spring is a tough one and takes a bit of force to get it attached to the mount points. This is good in my opinion as you do not want them popping off during a ride out. As with a lot of these older bikes, at some point you just want to spruce them up a bit. This is where we are at with this YZF-R1 2010 model. The crankcase covers were not too great and getting them replaced and not just repainting was a far cheaper alternative. I found the right part number by checking Yamaha schematics and then inputting that on Webike website. The price Webike had this for was fantastic value for money and better than I could source locally. After adding to my basket, the other parts I needed to order for this bike were all shipped together. This saved on shipping costs and I know that all the parts I need for this job would arrive tat the same time. After only 5 days my order arrived in the UK. The parts were all professionally packaged and there was no signs of damage to the box or contents. This crankcase cover was inside a sturdy Yamaha box. The finish on the cover was a lovely satin black which seems to be the norm for most Yamaha covers. The workmanship on this crankcase cover is excellent but you would not expect anything other than that from Yamaha. A great Japanese company. This thing of beauty came in with a lever holder issue where it had eventually given up the ghost and snapped at the wire input slot. Not really an issue as you can still buy the replacements and are OEM. Finding the right one was a little tricky but eventually I got there. Webike did stock these which was great news and the price was ridiculously cheap. Along with some other parts in my order, I got them all shipped using EMS, which is now my preferred courier. They just get the job done fast. 5 days after being shipped my order arrived. All the parts were free from any damage and were in perfect order. This lever holder is nothing too special but it also holds the clutch cable and so needed to be right. It has a nice satin black painted finish, all the threaded holes are well machined and it went onto the bars really easily. The time consuming part is removing all the switch gear to get this put on. At the time of inspecting this bike as it was due for the MOT, I found that not only was the belt toast but the disc brake was also in need of attention. Upon closer inspection, I found after precisely measuring the tolerances that the disc was beyond it's life. No problem, I can order one from Webike. Finding the right one for this model and year was easy enough using the schematics section on Yamaha website. The part did however fit the other smaller version too so readily available. The price Webike had this for on sale was great and far better than I could source locally from the dealer. Along with some other small parts I had them all shipped using EMS. In 5b days my order arrived. Perfect condition with no problems at all. The disc was well packaged inside the Yamaha box and protected with bubble wrap that I assume Webike applied. The disc itself is a stunning piece of machining. The tolerances after checking are 100% spot on to what they should be from new. The disc face is super well machined and there was no swarf or dust from this process inside the box. Very happy customer right here. Fitted in no time and on the road by the end of the day. So, this bike was in for a small check over and the owner wanted to get a protector for the screen. These do eventually get scratched so if you can stop that from happening in the first place, it's a good idea. Finding that Kawasaki actually make a genuine one for this bike was truly surprising. Anyway, finding the right one for this bike was straight forward by using the schematics for this model and year. Although the price is a little higher than some after market ones you could buy, why risk that when Kawasaki have put the time and effort into making one specifically for this model. No doubt, it will also be more hard wearing than after market ones too. Along with a couple of other smaller parts I needed, I got them al shipped using my preferred courier, EMS. They just get the orders delivered fast and with no hassle. In 5 days, my order arrived. The screen protector arrived in the Kawasaki packaging and was also kept nice and flat by Webike warehouse by adding a piece of cardboard. Very nice. The screen protector was very god quality and not as flimsy as I imagined it to be. It is a pretty tough addition. Easy to fit and does have a very slight tint to it.
