It's my first plug replacement with 20,000km on the odometer now (sweat;;
I didn't know that maintenance called Plug Replacement was necessary, but When I looked at NGK's site, I saw that the recommended replacement weight is 3000 to 5000 kilos, and I was creeped out I've done it..
It runs fine with no problems at all before or after the replacement
Thank God!

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the CR8E standard spark plug from NGK, the properties of the standard NGK spark plug like copper cored center electrode ensure a reliable spark. About the feeling of use: The NGK CR8E spark plug is better suited to the Grom BBK then the original installed NGK CPR6EA-9, the cooler rating ensures a trouble free spark with the higher compression piston of the BBK. Products to buy together: NGK also offer high performance spark plug caps which would also be desirable to purchase alongside the NGK CR8E standard spark plug to remove any chance of the performance of the standard spark plug being decreased. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes. Firstly, check the spark plug gap and adjust if required, then simply remove and install the spark plug and refit the spark plug cap securely. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality standard spark plug at a great price that is more then suitable for the perforamce requirement of the Grom BBK when considering the additional cost and minimal performace advantage of the iridium spark plug. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The original Honda spark plug heat rating is 6. Recommended heat rating for the stock engine is 6 or 7 and recommended heat rating for a big bore or high compression engines is 8 or 9. View Detail

About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are a combinations of copper, porcelain and nickel alloy for the standard plugs from NGK. About the feeling of use, After 1000 kms of use with the previous 9 heat rating spark plug the bike would stall and be difficult to start in colder weather conditions. The 8 heat rating spark plug works best with my modified engine setup with no negative side effects. Products to buy together, To maximize the performance of your spark it would be ideal to also add an upgraded hyper ignition coil from Takegawa to your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the spark plug for my installation was very easy due to the ease of access to the cylinder head and simple nature of the task. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive a spark plug made of quality materials from a well known brand. Pricing of stand spark plugs from other brands is similar where as iridium spark plugs are much more expensive. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. I find the link supplied to track my order very useful and the order arrived within the estimated date range. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs. View Detail

These NGK CR8E spark plugs were the origial plugs fitted that I ran for 15,000 kms with no problems so refitted the same again when it came time to swap them out. I was supprised to see that a v-twin engine had four spark plugs and soon learnt that was due to the twin spark system. I found the forward cylinder upper spark plug very difficult to remove due to the access behind the radiator and because of that will fit NGK iridium spark plugs in the future which have a longer service intervals.View Detail

Used for FZr250R.
I am not sure about the advantages of Iridium plugs, so I chose Standard Plug BP5HA, which is priced for frequent replacement.
NGK is highly reliable, and its quality and performance are as good as can be expected.
It works fine
It is inexpensive and I would like to Repeat it again.View Detail

I bought this product because I have used it for about 20,000 km since the last replacement.
Be aware that NGKPlug has three types of terminals.
The CR8E (NGK part number 1275) is a screw type and does not have an aluminum cap.
Because it is a water-cooled single-cylinder engine, exchange is easy, but in order that sand and garbage etc. do not enter the plug hole, I removed it after air blowing the vicinity.
I'm also interested in the MOTO DX and Windshield IRIDIUM, but since I commute to work on my motorcycle, it's easy. So I went with the stable Standard Plug BP5HA.
When the electrodes are reduced and the corners become rounded due to use, is it harder for the Spark to fly crisply?
It is true that when I replaced the Plug with a new one, the length of cranking at startup was shorter. I guess I really need to replace it earlier.
By the way, it is good to apply copper compound grease (CopperGrease, Thread compound, CopaSlip) to the screw part. Is it true?
If you google a little, you will find various effects that can be expected when you apply a small amount of copper compound Grease to the Screw part of the Plug.
Prevention of combustion gas leakage from the Spark plug attachment point
Large increase in current-carrying capacity!
Stabilization of clamping torque (axial force)
But on the other hand, NGK is
If lubricant or anti-seize agent is used on the screw part, it may cause over-tightening even if it is tightened with standard tightening torque. Do not use lubricants or anti-seize agents."
He clearly states that he's not a fan of the idea, so I guess that means it goes both ways. I'm in the camp of applying a little Daytonamotorex CopperCompound at your own risk.
To prevent over-tightening, I don't use the torque wrench, but tighten by hand and then use the wrench to tighten about 120 degrees (about 45 degrees after the second time). This will prevent damage.View Detail
